Fisher Price - Little People Lil' Movers School Bus - Review

This may just be the most exciting thing that we've received to review so far, it's the Little People Lil' Movers School Bus from Fisher Price.  Ethan absolutely loves every type of vehicle, but he became quite taken with school buses on our last trip to Canada.  I'm not sure if it's the bright yellow colour, or the fact that they were full of school children who would wave at him, but he was always excited to see a school bus.  He was thrilled when we opened up the box with the Little People school bus inside and wanted to play with it straight away.

The bus has loads of fun features, it comes with one child and a driver (but can hold a few more Little People if you have them), the door opens and shuts, the stop sign can be pulled out and pushed back in, several of the seats make a sound when you push the person down, and the bus itself plays the song 'The Wheels on the Bus' when you push it along.  Ethan loves every single one of these features.  I know that I sound like I'm gushing, but it is as if someone watched Ethan and saw what all of his favourite things are and put them into this one toy!

The Little People Lil' Movers School Bus can be bought from Amazon for £23.53 (there is an older model available for £19.99, which looks fairly similar).  You can also buy more Little People from Amazon if you'd like to fill up the bus.

Ethan has not stopped playing with this bus since it arrived last week, it is his new favourite toy. It is great for his Knowledge and Understanding of the World as we can use it to learn about road safety, having the children come safely off the bus and having the other cars stop when they see the sign.  It's also great for his Creative Development as he can make up little stories to go along with it.  The second day that he had it, he got out his little school house (completely unprompted, I had actually forgotten that we had a school!) and drove the bus to the school to drop the children off, then had them play for a little while, before putting them back on the bus to bring them home.

I can not recommend this toy highly enough, it's fantastic and a great addition to our collection of small world toys, I can't wait to get some more Little People toys for Ethan to play and learn with!
