Today Ethan is 18 months old!  We got him a few little presents, including his first box of Lego!  We've played with it before at playgroups and friends houses, but it was fun to save it until he was officially the age recommended on the box to have his own Lego Duplo set.

It's interesting though, because he always just took it apart and moved it around when we've come across it before, but for the first time today he actually stuck bricks together!  So there must be something about being 1 1/2 and being ready for Duplo.  We had lots of fun putting bricks together and taking them apart, all a part of Ethan's Knowledge and Understanding of the World (also great for his fine motor control).
