Today we played with a selection of Christmas hats. We have a Santa hat, an elf hat, a Christmas pudding hat and reindeer antlers.
Ethan doesn't really like to wear hats in general, but he does love to play with them! I put one on him, then he takes it off and passes it to me to wear, then I pass it back to him and he'll try to put it on himself. The taking off and putting on of the hats is great for Ethan's Physical Development as it's actually quite tricky to put a hat on his head and he has now nearly got it (although he often ends up just dropping it behind him). This activity is also great for Ethan's Personal, Social and Emotional Development as we work on turn taking with the hats.
