Today Ethan had his own little tree to decorate! It's a little foam tree, I actually found it at Poundland and it came with stickers, pom poms and tinsel. We didn't use some of the things it came with, but we did use the stickers and put our own small ornaments on it as well.
Ethan has never really had stickers before, so that was a very interesting experience for him. He really enjoyed sticking them on and peeling them off. We encouraged his Creative Development by placing the stickers and ornaments in different places. I also talked to him about Christmas and why Christmas trees are significant, contributing to his Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
