It's New Years Eve so we are celebrating! Pinterest to the rescue! There are so many excellent ideas, so we chose just a few to do. There were many suggestions to celebrate with different time zones, so we watched the countdown and the fireworks online to celebrate New Years with Sydney Australia at 1pm our time.  

We made hats and had streamers, bubbles and noise makers.  We talked about different parts of the world and about New Years as a special occasion, we also filled out a review of the year as a part of Ethan's Knowledge and Understanding of the World.  Counting down from 10 to 1 was a great Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy activity.
