Today we had a quiet day at home as we all have colds, but that wasn't a problem today, as it meant that we could have pancakes for breakfast and dinner! Ethan certainly didn't complain, he loves pancakes.  He even helped to make our dinner pancakes.  It was a great activity for him, as he got to see the process of making them from start to finish, as part of his Knowledge and Understanding of the World.  Lately he's been very impatient at meal times and wants his food instantly, so hopefully this will help him to understand the process and why food takes time.
