Ethan can not wait to go camping for real, he has literally been talking about it for the past year.  He's got it all planned out and is so excited to sleep in a tent and make a real camp fire.  To keep him occupied we've been doing some camping imaginary play and reading books about camping, but nothing is going to compare to when we're ready to go camping as a family.   So this Camping Guide from Halfords couldn't have come at a better time as now he's able to start planning everything out himself.

I have such fond memories of summer camps and even just camping in the back garden with my brothers, I can' wait to start making those memories with Ethan and Ivy.  For now they're making do with filling their play tents with all of the 'essential' toys that they think they'll need, but it won't be long now until Ivy's a bit older and we're ready to go camping as a family.



I love the cosiness of cuddling up in a tent altogether, and I know that the kids definitely will too.  Ethan is really excited about the fun of making meals over a camp fire, he's already decided that we'll have sausages for dinner then roast marshmallows for making s'mores!  And there are so many beautiful places to go camping in the UK, it's also a great chance to explore and take the kids on adventures in the outdoors.  We all can't wait!
