Father's Day Crafts

08:30

It's incredible how much small children love to make and give gifts to loved ones.  Whenever I ask Ethan and Ivy to sit down with me to draw in a birthday card or to make gifts they are always happy to help.  So at this time of year we are starting to think about Father's Day, and of course the kids were more than happy to make Daddy some lovely little gifts.

First we made Daddy some key chains using these very sweet Father's Day Keyring Kits from Baker Ross.  They come with very clear instructions for children to follow and simply involve them threading the beads onto the provided string.  This was one that Ethan really enjoyed making as he was able to do the threading by himself and it is great for his fine motor skills.

We also made Daddy some Father's Day Tie Bookmarks which also come in a kit from Baker Ross.  These were Ivy's favourite because they involved stickers!  Again the kits come with absolutely everything that you will need, I helped the kids to tie the ribbon to the top of the bookmarks and they happily covered them in stickers.  Ivy put hers everywhere whilst Ethan had a bit more of a plan, and was able to carefully place the letter stickers to spell out the words as well.

I know that Daddy is going to love these very special gifts from the kids, and they will be so proud to give them to him!
