Moana Happy Tin - Book Set Review

08:30

One of the most important things to our family is a love of reading books.  Our home is filled with books and we are always happy to add to the collection.  We also like to have fun with books, and that's why we were more than happy to review the Moana Happy Tin book set from Parragon Books.

The set contains the story book Moana as well as a colouring book, activity book, stickers, felt tip pens and a poster.  Ivy was so excited to open up the package and discover what was inside.

She couldn't wait to take everything out and see what it all was.  For her it was a bit like a surprise bag full of goodies, and even though she wasn't familiar with the character or the story of Moana she was still really excited to play with everything inside the tin.  It really is a happy tin, and would make such a lovely gift for someone too.

The first thing that Ivy wanted to do was some colouring, so she pulled out the felt tip markers and the colouring book and set to work.  She happily coloured away as I told her what it said on each page about the characters from the story.  The activity book is aimed at slightly older children, so we will save that one for her brother.

After playing with the stickers and the colouring book we decided it was time to read the story.  The story is based on the Disney film which will be released soon, I think that Ivy found it a bit complicated to follow, but I think that after watching the film she will really enjoy it.  It's a story of a girl who goes on an adventure in the ocean based on ancient tales from her ancestors, she's a great role model and I'm sure that Ivy will be a big fan in a few months time!
