We have finally got around to doing some gardening! We got some big pots, soil and a variety of seeds to plant. I know absolutely nothing about gardening, and definitely don't have a green thumb, so we really just had fun in the process and aren't too worried about what we end up growing!
Ethan loved digging around in the soil, breaking up all of the lumps, then sprinkling all the seeds in the pots (and I do mean ALL the seeds, hundreds of them, these pots are going to be crazy!) Then of course we got to water the seeds, which was definitely Ethan's favourite part! After a couple of days the seeds started to sprout, Ethan is loving going outside everyday to check on them. In the long run, I'm not sure what's going to happen in these pots, we have one full of flower seeds and one full of vegetable seeds. It will be a miracle if we end up with anything pretty or edible, but we'll try our best and have fun watching to see what happens!
