Painting Hedgehogs

07:30

Today we painted these adorable hedgehog ceramic tealight holders from Baker Ross.  We used these porcelain paints on them and they really turned out so well.

I was a little bit nervous letting Ivy use these paints so I dipped her brush for her, but she was actually really good with it and carefully painted her hedgehog with as many different colours as she could possibly use!

Ethan made up his mind straight away that he just wanted his hedgehog to be blue and green, so he used one colour at a time to carefully paint his hedgehog and to cover the whole area.

Once the children were finished painting we left the hedgehogs to dry for a few hours and then to set the porcelain paint into the hedgehogs I heated them in the oven (following the directions on the paint) and they came out so beautiful and shiny!

These hedgehogs are going to look great all lit up on dark autumn evenings, we absolutely love them!

* This is a review post, we were sent the hedgehog tealight holders and paints from Baker Ross to use and write about.*
