Ethan loves books, he especially loves little tiny books. So we were very excited to open his present from Santa yesterday and find a little pocket library (not that one exactly, I can't find the one he got online, but that sort of set).
We looked through all of the books together, and often whilst I was reading a book to Ethan he was busy flipping the pages of another book. This helps to develop his Communication, Language and Literacy as it helps with his listening skills and shows him how books work to begin his pre reading skills. The book set that we got is all about animals and there are quite a few with animal sounds, which is teaching him and developing his Knowledge and Understanding of the World. On a side note, he also quite enjoys taking the books out and putting the books back into their little box :)
