Father's Day Gift List

12:00

It's almost Father's Day, and if like me you're completely unprepared, don't worry because you still have time (so thankful for express delivery!)  There are so many gift lists out there that are full of presents that my husband just wouldn't be interest in at all (he doesn't play golf or wear ties every day!) But I did manage to find a few fun presents for him this year that I hope he'll like, and of course we've made him a few things too!

Personalised Cuff Links from My 1st Years are just too cute to resist.  Even though he doesn't wear cuff links every day, I think that he'll like them for a special occasion.  They're really nice and simple, you can choose what to have engraved on them (I chose each of the childrens' names, but you could put 'Best Daddy' or another message).  You even get to personalise the silver box that they come in with a message of your choosing.  They also come beautifully presented in a box and make a really lovely gift.

There is nothing sweeter than a handmade card, and this one that Ethan made when he was one is really just some finger painting, but Ethan knew that he was making something special for Daddy and was so excited to give it to him!  I definitely think that I'll have Ivy do something similar this year.

This year we had some craft kits from Baker Ross and used a card template from them that Ethan has decorated really sweetly as well as a few other little crafts that Daddy will definitely love.  We love to make crafts from our own creations, but sometimes a kit really is helpful as it has everything you need right there.

This Daddy's Bed and Bathtime Kit from Mama Baby Bliss is just too cute not to mention. Ever since Ethan was born bath time has been Daddy's special time with him, and now Ivy joins in on the splashing fun too!  It gives me a chance to get a few things done around the house before the kids go to bed and gives them a lovely bonding time.

We made this pom pom frame for Daddy's birthday, but it would also make a really cute Father's Day gift.  What dad wouldn't want a keepsake of their child's drawing?

And my favourite Father's Day gift that we've made this year would have to be this holder for the TV remotes!  It was so easy to make but it really is the perfect gift for any Dad.  We've gone for a travel theme as that's his thing, but you could really decorate it in any way to suit the Dad's likes, maybe a particular sport or other hobby or just with photos or artwork.
