The Baby Whisperer

  • This book was really helpful for me when I was trying to get Ethan into a routine.  I loved that it emphasized the importance of activity time and playtime with baby.
  • This is a great book as a guide to where your child should be developmentally, with ideas for stimulating activities.
  • We go to Gymboree classes and absolutely love them!  This book is filled with great ideas for activities to do with your baby from birth, I love it!
  • As Ethan gets older it's become apparent that I need some strategies to help to guide him in the right direction with his behaviour, this book has been a great help.
  • I had no idea that Montessori methods could be used from such a young age, a really interesting read with Montessori based activities for very young children.
  • A set of ebooks from the fantastic Hands on as we Grow blog, these are broken up into ages and give you everything you need to plan out your play activities for the week.  Full of fantastic ideas for play!
  • Maggy Woodley of the Red Ted Art blog (which I love!) has her very own book of fabulous crafty ideas!
  • Another great blog turned book, this one is from the hugely successful Kids Activities Blog and has loads of great ideas for play.
  • Yet another one of my favourite bloggers, Cathy James of Nurturestore has put out a fabulous book of hands on outdoor activities!
