World Book Day

08:00

We've had quite a few World Book Days now since the kids started nursery, and we've built up a little collection of simple book themed costumes, so it seemed time to put them all in the same place.

Peter Rabbit for World Book Day

In nursery Ethan was Peter Rabbit and we had so much fun making his first World Book Day costume together!

Max from Where the Wild Things Are for World Book Day

In preschool Ethan was Max from the book Where the Wild Things Are for World Book Day.  This was an ambitious one, simple in all ways except for the tail which I was very proud of!

In reception Ethan just had to wear pyjamas to school for World Book Day (not to worry though, I still dressed him in themed pyjamas - a fire fighter - and sent him in with a book to go with them!)

The Highway Rat for World Book Day

In Year One Ethan dressed as The Highway Rat for World Book Day, and even helped to design his costume himself!

A Mermaid for World Book Day

In nursery Ivy was a mermaid from the book The Singing Mermaid for World Book Day.  It was another super simple one (but those tights were a thing of beauty!)

Mog for World Book Day

In preschool Ivy dressed as Mog for World Book Day, she is a big fan of cats so this was definitely an easy choice, and super easy to put together!

This year we have a few things in mind already, but it's time to start planning!
