Christmas is coming and we couldn't be happier.  Each year we add to our Christmas book collection by doing a 12 Books of Christmas in the days that lead up to the big day.  This year we will be looking for some great Christmas books for toddlers, board books that are tough enough to handle destructive toddlers and fun enough to keep them interested.  

Christmas Books that Toddlers will Love:

Dear Santa (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
Great for kids who are already familiar with Dear Zoo and love a fun repetitive book with flaps to lift up to keep them engaged.




Christmas Peekaboo (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
The peekaboo books have always been a big hit for my kids when they were toddlers, who doesn't love looking at cute babies?



Jingle Baby (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
This is one of the Indestructables books which babies and toddlers literally can not destroy, they can try and rip and bite and nothing!  So if that's your toddler, then this is the book you need for Christmas!



That's Not My Elf (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
This is another series that has always been a favourite in our house, toddlers love exploring the textures on all of the different pages.

Elmer's Christmas (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
We've got to have a character that we love, and what toddlers don't love Elmer the patchwork elephant.



Nativity Flap Book (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
If you want a nice introductory book of the Christmas story this one is perfect, it keeps little ones focused with the flaps to lift up and gives them a good first opportunity to learn the story.



The Christmas Bear (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
This is a brand new book from the illustrator of The Gruffalo (and so many other great books) and it looks so cute, it will definitely be under our tree this Christmas.



The Snowman (buy on Amazon US / UK) 
We love The Snowman, it is a classic and a great opportunity for toddlers to be able to tell their own little story to go along with the pictures in the book.
