We were given another lovely little puppet book from Parragon books to review. This one is called Bunny Loves to Play and is available from Amazon. It's a sweet little puppet book, perfect for Ethan to look through and turn the pages and to show his little sister, great for both of their Communication, Language and Literacy development.
I sat and read the book to Ethan first as some special time with just the two of us, and he really enjoyed playing with the bunny puppet. Later on Ethan picked up the book on his own and started to flip through the pages, retelling the story in his own words. It's very sweet to see the way that Ethan interacts with Ivy, he was calling over to her 'Baby Ivy, look, Bunny is playing'. It's a great book for small babies as well as older toddlers as they can use them in different ways. While it's great for Ivy to hear the language and start to watch the movement of the puppet, it's also great for Ethan to be read simple books that he can then retell. We love these puppet books from Parragon.
