Today Ethan went with his Grandparents to feed the ducks (and other birds). He absolutely loves doing this, and it's actually something that we don't really do (we go to watch the ducks, but never bring anything to feed them, I'm not a huge fan of birds and don't really like to encourage them to approach us!) It's great for his Knowledge and Understanding of the World as he gets to see all of the birds up close and can ask lots of questions about them.
It is also great for me as when he gets home he's so excited to tell me all about it. He climbed up onto my lap and told me about all of the different birds he saw, about the puddles he jumped in, the sticks he collected and the dogs that he said hello to. He just loves to get out and explore!
