Thanksgiving is over, and that means it's time to decorate for Halloween! We can't wait for Halloween this year, we've celebrated every year since Ethan was born, but this year he's older and I think that it will be a lot more fun for him. It's so much fun to see him getting excited about special occasions now, all part of his Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
We had so much fun decorating today! Ethan wanted to help with everything! We put little bats on the door knobs, spider webs along the railings, pumpkin lanterns on hooks above the stairs, window stickers on the glass doors and little pumpkin buckets and toys all around the house! Ethan had a say in where everything went, and keeps picking things up and reorganising them. He loves the little light up ghost and tells me when to turn the pumpkin lights on and off. He is a true little decorator :)
