We have a box in the kitchen for Ethan to play with whilst I'm preparing his meals. We're always adding interesting things in the box, interesting containers and kitchen utensils mostly. Today Ethan was especially interested in it, getting out the ice cream scoop and using it as a drum stick on the hula hoops tin.
It was a great opportunity for me to sit down to play and discover with him. We went through all of the objects in the box, bashing them together and seeing what made a good noise! It was a fun and noisy activity developing Ethan's Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
