We love Christmas books and have quite a collection now after doing our 12 Books of Christmas for the past 3 years.  So this year I'm looking for a little something different, and Ethan is loving silly books, so I've found the silliest Christmas books there are to add to our Christmas reading list.

As you may expect when looking for silly books for a four year old, I found a lot to do with poop, wee, farts and underwear!  So here's the bodily function humour that I know Ethan will love in The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas (buy from Amazon US / UK), Father Christmas Needs a Wee (buy from Amazon US / UK), Father Christmas Comes up Trumps (buy from Amazon US / UK) and Aliens Love Panta Claus (buy from Amazon US / UK).  Maybe I'm just encouraging this kind of humour, but he is going to giggle like crazy at these stories!

Next we move onto the silly food with The Silly Satsuma (buy from Amazon US / UK), The Smelly Sprout (buy from Amazon US / UK) and The Christmas Carrot (buy from Amazon US / UK).  Everyone loves talking food, so I'm thinking these will also be very funny and fun to read.

And last but not least, I've chosen Norman the Slug who Saved Christmas (buy from Amazon US / UK) because how can a slug saving Christmas not be silly?

I know that Ethan is going to love these, and I am going to love reading them to him and listening to him giggle away!
