We have been sent a lovely set from Parragon Books called Jiggly Giraffe. It comes with a board book and a toy giraffe rattle. It's perfect for Ivy as she is just starting to like looking at toys and hearing them make sounds. That makes it great for her Knowledge and Understanding of the World in developing her senses as well as Communication, Language and Literacy in listening to the story.
She loves the rattle as it's easy for her to hold onto and shake around. It also makes a little rattly sound, so she enjoys watching and listening to it when someone else is holding it for her. The story is very simple and easy to follow, there are different actions that the giraffe does so it lends itself to moving the giraffe around for her. It's a lovely little set for a small baby.
