Play Therapy sessions take place in the play room, which is either located within a child's school or in private therapy space. The play room contains a Play Therapy Tool-kit which includes toys from several different categories for children to choose to play with. The sessions are primarily child led, meaning that the child chooses from the areas of the tool-kit and plays how they would like to.
Arts and Crafts
There is a selection of arts and crafts materials including paint, coloured pencils, decorative paper, glue, tape and stickers. Children may get a bit messy at these sessions, there are aprons available, but it is best not to send them to Play Therapy in their best clothing.
