Our Halloween 2021 Trip to Disneyland Paris

11:26

We recently went to Disneyland Paris for our October Half Term Break from school and had the most wonderful time!  Of course some things are different from the last time that we visited Disneyland Paris, but it was still magical and going at Halloween and seeing all of the decorations was definitely worth it!

We booked our trip at the very last minute because we were unsure about going with all of the rules and restrictions, but then decided that we would give it a try, and we're so glad that we did.  Our trip was for 5 days, including travel days.  We drove there via the Eurotunnel, which we find the most convenient as we can just load up the car with as much as we want (and not worry about how much we buy to bring home!)

We stayed at the Davy Crockett Ranch for our trip as this was the best value at the time of booking, it included park tickets for each day and we liked the fact that we would have a bit more space than in a hotel room.  (I will write up a whole post about our stay at Davy Crockett Ranch with more detail soon.)

I did post each day on our shared Instagram account @LegoDisneyMums with lots of stories and detailed daily posts of what we got up to, so I won't repeat all of the details here, but please do give us a follow over there as well!

Day One:
Travel Day and a quick trip to Disneyland Park

Day Two:
Disneyland Park

Day Three:
Walt Disney Studios Park and Disneyland Park

Day Four:
Disneyland Park Character Meeting Day

Day Five:
Both Parks and Shopping before Travelling Home

The Halloween decorations and themed treats were fantastic!  The castle was still about half covered up for refurbishments while we were there, which was a shame but luckily we have been before and seen it in all its glory.  Meeting the characters was still lovely, the kids didn't seem to mind having to be a bit distanced.  The cavalcades are such a nice surprise, it was always wonderful to catch one.  And we were lucky to have the first few small parades come back while we were there, which was a real treat.

Here's a little reel of our favourite Mickey shaped treats (the themed snacks are our favourites!):

You can also take a look at the outfits we wore in this video over on @LegoDisneyMums which included a lot of layers to keep us warm in the cooler mornings and evenings:
