Now that we have been home learning for a little while we are really getting into our routine and enjoying our days. (Here are our full schedules and resources for playing and home learning.)  We spend our mornings a bit more structured and getting through our maths and English lessons, then do topic work and games in the afternoons.  We have so many fantastic games, many that we have reviewed over the years that are perfect for home learning.  Here are a few of our suggestions:

We were also sent a great book called Board Game Family which is a fantastic read about the importance of playing games as a family, and it does emphasise family time over screen time.  There's also a blog that I follow called My Little Poppies and she writes about Gameschooling which truly uses games for every area of learning.  I think that we're definitely going to try planning a few days where we just play games for every subject.  What are your favourite games?
