Birthday T-Shirt

08:30

Last year when Ethan turned two, he made his very own birthday crown. This year we've gone one better and made a birthday t-shirt!  I got some great fabric paint from That's Original who I met at the Handmade Fair a couple of weeks ago.  I got some dark blue Tulip Puffy Paint and a lighter blue Tulip Glow in the Dark Paint.

I traced a large number 3 onto the t-shirt with the darker blue puffy paint, then left it to dry over night.  The next day I let Ethan loose with the fabric paint and he decided to fill the number 3 with dots.  The tubes were easy for him to squeeze and he was able to decorate the t-shirt without getting frustrated or losing interest.

We left it to dry overnight again, and then it was ready to try on.  It looks really cute on him, my only worry is that when he wears it on his birthday he'll pick off all of the paint, he loves to play with it! Hopefully it will last the day.
