Ethan is lucky enough to have a lovely group of little friends. He has got them each a small pressie and also wanted to make something for them. We chose an easy craft that I came across on Pinterest, but originated on Mom on Time Out; these adorable Candy Cane Christmas Trees. We attempted to make them out of card instead of felt, but I think that felt is probably best because ours have a big fold down the middle. A great little activity for Creative Development in decorating the Christmas trees with crayons and stickers.
To be honest, Ethan isn't feeling very well, so he wasn't even in the mood for colouring or sticking on stickers today. We haven't got very far with these, so we'll have to try again in the morning before we see some friends in the afternoon (if we even manage to get out tomorrow, my poor little guy just seems to get one thing after another!)
