I am a Stay at Home Mom to an imaginative little boy and a very active little girl who both love to play!  I feel that play is very important for Ethan and Ivy because it helps them to learn and develop. We have decided to share our ideas for games and toys that we play with every day to hopefully inspire others to play every day too!

I am a Canadian and have been living in London, England for over 10 years.  A lot of my ideas are inspired by my Canadian upbringing, as well as my teaching experience in the UK.

Before deciding to stay at home with my little ones full time, I was a nursery school deputy headmistress.  It was a difficult decision to leave such a fantastic job, but I decided that I wanted to be able to devote more of my time to them.  Being in that position also taught me a lot about what schools look for in potential students.  This is also a lot of my inspiration for my activities, which are all based on the English curriculum for children from birth – five years old, called The Early Years Foundation Stage.
