We were lucky enough to be invited to the WB Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter to see the new exhibit items from The Goblet of Fire.
So as well as experiencing all of the usual wonderful features of the Harry Potter Studio Tour we were able to see some special items that were brought back from the fourth film, including a huge glowing Triwizard Cup that was used at the movie premiere.
When we entered the Great Hall the Goblet of Fire was there, and they did a demonstration of how it lit up and a name came flying out! I'll let you guess which wizards name it was that came out! And as an extra little bonus upon leaving the Great Hall you get to pick up your own little souvenir piece of parchment with Harry Potter's name on it.
The colourful taps from the Prefect's bathroom are also on display. Ivy loved watching these, the rainbow coloured water constantly running down is very mesmerising!
I'm not sure if it was new, but I didn't remember seeing the car being hit by the whomping willow last time. And this time I couldn't tear Ivy away from it, she could have watched that car all day!
The Forbidden Forest is also new to us. I only managed this one photo of Buckbeak as we made a very quick walk though, the children were terrified of the massive spiders. They've definitely done a good job of making the forest very scary, but maybe have a quick peek yourself if your kids are anything like mine!
Of course there were also all of the things that we loved seeing and doing from our first visit, including the passports that you carry around and collect stamps in, the Hogwarts Express, Platform 9 3/4, Diagon Alley, the green screen photo and video opportunities, the Knight Bus, the covered bridge from Hogwarts, and of course the fabulously huge model of Hogwarts castle.
