The Queen's 90th Birthday Activities

10:32

Happy Birthday to the Queen!  One thing that I love about living in Great Britain is how much everyone comes together for these big celebrations and throws local parties that always involve lots of cake!

For the Queen's 90th Birthday we are celebrating by doing some of these fun printable activities from iChild.  There is a great selection of activity sheets for all different topics and plenty to choose from to commemorate the Queen's 90th Birthday.

There is a great selection of the type of activities that you can print out for your children to do and for a variety of ages and abilities.  Many of them were just perfect for Ethan, and as we don't do many worksheets at home he surprised me with how well he was able to do them without much help at all from me.

There were a few activities that involved writing, which he is really improving on so it was great practice for him.  It was fun because he was able to trace over the letters a few times and then write the word himself, finishing by colouring the picture of the Queen at the top.

Ethan loved the Corgi counting worksheet, lots of fun to count those corgis and work on number writing skills as well.  Then some fun colouring of those cute dogs to finish off.

Ethan loves any sort of matching activity, so this matching of crowns was right up his street and he finished in a few seconds flat!

Then to really prepare for the Queen's birthday celebrations and to work on scissor skills we cut out some bunting and some party hats!

And of course it wouldn't be a party without some cakes!  We made these simple Rice Krispie treats with marshmallows, red white and blue hundreds and thousands and these fantastic 90th birthday cake toppers.

Pin this idea for later!

Happy 90th Birthday Your Majesty!
