I have always loved reading to Ethan, and I think that our love of books has influenced Ethan to love books as well. He has now reached the stage where he likes to have the same books read to him over and over again, to the point where he's able to memorise the entire book.
Now he likes to read to Ivy, it is the sweetest thing ever! He picks up a book and starts telling her the story, either by memory or just describing the pictures to her. It's great for him and he's using his Communication, Language and Literacy skills, great for their bonding and great for Ivy as she gets to listen to her big brother and pick up language from him. They really are sweet together, I am so lucky!
