We took Ethan to his first rugby class today! A very exciting day for a little boy (especially being English / South African!) it's almost a right of passage. We haven't really been doing any organised classes for Ethan in quite a while, as things have been a bit chaotic at home, but as things are finally settling down, we're having a look around for more activities to do. Ethan loved doing football last year, so we thought that we might try out rugby this year. It's great for his Physical Development as he gets to run around and work on his ball skills.
The session was great, it completely tired Ethan out. You could tell that he hadn't done anything like it in a while, as he was sometimes reluctant to join in a new activity. But after some persuasion he was happily running around, throwing the ball, kicking the ball and excitedly scoring tries. Hopefully we'll be able to get him registered for a class (this was just an open day) as he really did enjoy it, and it would be a great activity for him to do with Daddy (so I can have some one on one time with Ivy as well).
