12 Books of Christmas

21:11

We started a tradition last year, called the 12 Books of Christmas.  Basically in the 12 days leading up to Christmas, Ethan gets to open up a new Christmas book each day.  It means that we already have quite the collection of Christmas books from last year, but it was still so easy to find 12 more this year.  There are so many excellent children's Christmas books!  I can't wait for Ethan to open up his first one on Friday.

Ethan's 12 Books of Christmas
  1. Bear Stays Up for Christmas
  2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  3. One Snowy Night
  4. That's not my Snowman
  5. The Snowman
  6. A Christmas Carol
  7. The Story of Baby Jesus
  8. Snowman! Best in Snow, Penguins! Holiday Parade & Reindeer! A Christmas Story
  9. Jingle Bells
  10. Happy Holidays, Bubble Guppies!
  11. The Best Christmas Ever!
  12. Peppa and Ethan's Christmas - from Penwizard

We were given Peppa and Ethan's Christmas to review from Penwizard.  It's a personalised book, and I was able to go onto their website and put in Ethan's name as well as choosing his features (gender, hair style, hair colour, skin colour, eye colour and glasses / no glasses) so that the pictures look a bit like him.  It also includes a personalised message from us, and the present that Ethan has asked for from Santa.  The book has arrived just in time for me to wrap up for the 12 Books of Christmas.  I have to say that it looks fantastic, Ethan is going to love it. He really is in a story with Peppa Pig!  It is something really special to be treasured, and there is still time to order one in time for Christmas delivery.

I can't wait for Ethan to start tearing into his new books every night, he is going to absolutely love them!  We already got out all of his Christmas books from the last 2 years, and he's been bringing me them to read to him everyday.  He is already a little book worm :)
